CRT Gold Licence 2026 (12 months)

for narrowboats & craft not exceeding 23.09m (75'9")

If your boat is longer than this, please contact the CRT for a quote. (only applies if your home mooring is on the Thames).
Fees include 20% VAT where applicable. Price is the same for powered and unpowered craft.
For craft with greater than 2.16m width a 13% surcharge applies or greater than 3.24m width a 26% surcharge.
Craft with no home mooring (permanent travellers) will attract a 10% surcharge
Electric powered craft a 25% discount applies.
Payment by instalements by direct debit is 12.72% extra
(all the above surcharges or discount will be incorporated in the calculation).

The CRT Gold licence covers you for all CRT canals and rivers, plus River Thames,River Medway,River Nene,River Great Ouse System,River Ancholme, River Glen above Surfleet Sluice,River Welland above Spalding Lock,River Stour.
