Please make use of our facilities and feel welcome to join us in the bar. Our licensed bar is open during our weekend "hours" to both non members and afffiliate members. (both need to be signed in by a member). Please introduce yourselves at the bar and you will be made most welcome.
Electric hook-ups are available by a pre payment card purchased at the bar, weekends only .
Dogs are allowed in the clubhouse unless food is being served, they must be under control on a lead and will be asked to leave if they misbehave. Please remember to clear up after your pets as we have young children playing on the club island.
**We make no charge for boats to moor with us, although donations are always welcome to enable our club and this facility to continue. To make a donation please see one of our harbourmasters or members of the committee, or we have a donation box on the bar during club opening times, there is a secure post box on the outside of the clubhouse for use during non opening hours. (please give generously)
Now on to the boring stuff!
If staying overnight, a visiting boat log form MUST be completed on arrival.
These are located in the box alongside the rear door of clubhouse, or can be downloaded and printed by following link below.
If club is not open, please place completed mooring form, together with any donation in the envelope provided in the locked post box at rear of club.
Duration of stay in accordance with the terms of our lease. You are welcome to stay at OCC moorings for upto a maximum of 48 hours and not return for a period of 7 days, (unless a longer period has been agreed with our Harbourmaster). The maximum stay overall within a 3 month period is 14 days.
All craft moored at OCC must be fully licensed for use on the River Nene and insured for Third Party Risk.
OCC Members both from Oundle Marina and elsewhere should moor on the inside (Marina) side of the island, whilst visitors, guests including ARNC members should moor on the river side.
Please take rubbish home with you and leave our moorings tidy.
As we rely on revenue from our bar, drinks not purchased at the bar during club opening hours will not be permitted to be consumed on the club premises including the club island.
OCC & OMV accept no responsibility for loss, damage or injury whilst using our premises or the marina.
**(Failure to comply with the above may result in being asked to leave and any overstaying period may be charged at £15 per night.)
(Any craft left on our moorings without the club’s permission and the owner not completing a visiting boat form with contact details, may be treated as trespass and the appropriate action for its removal and any debt recovery will be taken.)
As a visitor if you would like to spend some time moored at Oundle Cruising Club, especially at times of high demand like bank holidays, we highly recommend you complete the "Mooring Request", by clicking the link below, prior to your arrival. It is important that our Harbourmasters are made aware of your pending visit in order they can try to accomodate visitors expectations. Unfortunately contacting Committee members both past and present who may not be aware of forward demand could lead to disappointment if the moorings are full on your arrival. To that end all Harbourmaster's contact details are on this website.
And finally, a polite request - please keep excessive noise down after 11pm in consideration of your fellow moorers.
OCC is a voluntary organisation and would very much appreciate a donation for the continued upkeep of the island from visitors.
We look forward to seeing you at OCC.
