Work Weekend

1st & 2nd October 2005

The work weekend was a great success. Thanks to all that attended and the weather, all the required work was completed on the Saturday, leaving plenty of time for cruising on the Sunday. The club house looks clean and tidy and the refurbished shower room is due for completion shortly.

Special thanks to Helen (membership secretary) for supplying lunch and Chris  (harbourmaster) for cooking th BQ in the evening.

We had a visit from new boaters Barry and Pat, who have joined (NBC) and who have also just got married. Honeymoon on the Nene with a short stop at Oundle Cruising Club.  Congratulation and good luck from OCC.

Next weekend sees the World Conker Championships at Ashton. Over the weekend several boats will make the trip from OCC, why not be one of them. There are no special arrangements, just head for Ashton (Arm if by boat) or village if by car. For details conkers click here
