Work Weekend

Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd April

Every year at this time the dreaded "Work Weekend" springs upon us. This is the time when a schedule of jobs requiring attention in the clubhouse and its surrounding island is compiled. It is them shoved in front of your noses and you are expected to choose a job, or several, which are suited to your skills and then perform them over the weekend. The jobs are various, from painting, gardening, cleaning etc.

This year will be no exception. However the work schedule will be posted not only in the clubhouse but also on the web. By now I'm sure you have sent your renewal to our Membership Secretary, Helen. This being the case, she already knows your skill sets, So watch out you could be getting a call.

There is work for everyone and all will be welcome. The more hands, the more we get done to make our club tidy with no labour cost, except a party afterwards.
