Peterborough Festival

&

Boat Fest

23rd June - 25th June 2006

Last year was a fantastic experience to all who attended. The actual festival commences 24th June but for boaters the evening of 23rd with a welcome Barbeque. The organiser of the boat side of the festival is our very own Rob Mason and he ensures me that this year will be the best ever. The ANRC have their own tent, all welcome, but bring your own alcohol. Although speaking to the Captain at the weekend, Ray commented that he might put his hand in his pocket, but its highly unlikely.

Anyway if you are taking a boat to the quayside there will be plenty of moorings, although you may have to raft out. Bring lights if you have any for the illuminated boats Saturday evening. If you are travelling by car, or caravanette there parking areas and also room for overnight stay. Remember Friday night is the start for boaters, Saturday for visitors.

Look forward to seeing you there, and instead of me detailing a program of events, I attach a link to the festival site.
