Oundle Cruising Club

Overnight Cruise 31st July/ 1st Aug

The Oundle Cruising Club Overnight Cruise took place and went to Ashton Arm. 8 boats took part consisting of 22 people. This extremely successful event commence Saturday afternoon by closing the club and heading down river on the short cruise to Ashton. After mooring all the various boats, the drinking commenced. This culminated in the early hours with a large barbeque in the interim period. Some people lasted longer than others, some falling on their boats and others falling in the river (Paul). Sunday started with rather hung over bodies disembarking from their respective boats, or maybe not their own boats but where they had crashed, with heavy heads. A mass breakfast was cooked, which prepared everybody for the return trip back to Oundle Cruising Club just before lunch.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and look forward to the next cruise.
